An established and respected refrigeration and air conditioning service provider is looking for a permanent skilled Chiller Engineer to join their team.
This is a field-based position covering London and the surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of chillers, delivering a high standard of technical work and customer service.
Key Responsibilities as Chiller Engineer
- Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of chiller and AC/VRV systems with minimal supervision
- Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities
- Produce clear, detailed technical reports and documentation
- Complete work reports and timesheets promptly to support efficient invoicing
- Occasionally perform on-site installations to company standards
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices during on-site work
- Maintain compliance with company technical and safety standards
- Uphold the organisation’s quality and service excellence values
Essential Skills & Experience as Chiller Engineer:
- You’ll be a proactive and motivated engineer with strong communication and organisational skills. You take pride in delivering quality work and can manage your time and responsibilities effectively.
Desired Qualifications & Knowledge of Chiller Engineer:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field service or maintenance engineering role
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship (mechanical and basic electrical competencies)
- Safe handling of refrigerants and hydrocarbons
- Strong knowledge of controls, BMS systems, and electrical fault-finding
