The Role

As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be the technical expert on-site, responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining and commissioning industrial refrigeration systems across a varied customer base. This is a hands-on position combining both mechanical and electrical work, where safety, customer satisfaction and technical excellence are key.

What you’ll be doing as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer:

• Service, maintain, repair and commission industrial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out on-site installations and commissioning to the highest industry standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Produce accurate technical reports and complete timesheets to support timely invoicing.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and apprentices.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and company quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll have:

• At least 5 years’ experience servicing, installing and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• A valid Ammonia qualification/certificate.
• Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• A flexible approach and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
