Warehouse Operative

We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business based in Andover on a full-time permanent basis.

 

This role offers more than your standard Yard/Warehouse position – you’ll be involved in daily warehouse operations, occasional site visits, assisting with basic equipment servicing as support for field-based engineers. If you’re physically capable, confident working independently, and take pride in doing a good job, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Accurately pick, load, and handle goods, ensuring all items match the correct documentation
• Organise and rotate stock following established warehouse procedures
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe – always adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Paint, service, and test portable HVAC assets when required
• Inspect hoses and components for wear and safety
• Occasionally assist engineers with equipment installs and removals at customer sites
• Maintain inventory records and support warehouse stock control
• Dispense and transfer fuel following correct procedures
• Support team operations and help cover driver/installer responsibilities as needed

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Essential:

• Physically fit and capable of handling a hands-on workload
• Team player who can also work on their own initiative
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Good communication skills and a reliable, can-do approach
• Full UK driving licence

 

Desirable:

• Previous experience with HVAC or mechanical equipment
• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential

Hours:
